Rafael Leão: A Rising Star in Portuguese Football

Early Life and Career

Rafael Leão was born on June 10, 1999, in Almada, Portugal. He began his football career at Sporting CP at the age of nine, rising through the ranks of the youth team before making his professional debut for the first team in August 2018.

Leão quickly established himself as a promising player at Sporting CP, making 27 appearances and scoring 10 goals for the club. He played a key role in the team's 2018–19 Primeira Liga title win, which was Sporting's first league title in 19 years.

Move to AC Milan

In August 2019, Leão joined AC Milan on a €20 million transfer deal. He scored his first goal for the club in his debut match against Udinese and has since become a regular starter for the Rossoneri.

Success at Milan
